  • 紅帽RHCE認證考試升級為RHCE 6.0

    各位Linux愛好者 大家好！紅帽RHCE6.0在2010年11月發佈，預計明年4月紅帽官方將停止RHCE 5.0認證以及相關考試，開始提供新版（RHCE6.0）紅帽認證及培訓。升級之後，RHCE的難度將大幅度加大，我們建議學員提前參加培訓和認證，以避開新版考試的複雜性和不可預知性。我們提供RHCE 6.0與5.0對比，供學員參考：

  • 紅帽Linux全系列認證 即將全面升級到6.0版

    2010年11月，紅帽RHCE認證的升級版RHEL 6.0將面世，從2011年3月開始，新版本的紅帽全系列認證培訓及考試將在紅帽全國各授權培訓中心正式展開；包括紅帽RHCE / RHCA / RHCVA等實用性非常強的全系培訓課程。2011年3月，舊版RHEL 5.4的認證培訓將退出歷史舞臺。

    新版的RHCT認證將更名為 RHCSA（Redhat Certified System Administrator），考試代號更新為EX200。
    新版的RHCE，必須先通過RHCSA認證，再參加RHCE考試（考試代號EX300），二者均通過才能獲得RHCE證書。而RHCE證書的有效期，也由以前的二個版本有效期變為有效期三年。如果需要保持證書的有效性，則應在證書到期前參加相應的重認證考試。

    以上的一系列變化，意味著新版RHCE的難度將大幅度加大，考試的次數將變為二次，考試的時間將由現在半天，延長為一天，上午考RHCSA，下午考RHCE；考試成本比現增加二倍以上。

    考試的流程也將更為複雜，考試靈活性也有新的變化；據說紅帽官方為了更好的測試考生實際水準，為每門新版考試都準備了大量的隨機性考題，難度將更具備挑戰，預計新版認證考試將更受有實力考生的歡迎。

  • 紅帽RHCE認證 2011年將全面改版

    新版RHCE認證6考試將在2011年升級為兩次考試，RHCT將改為RHCSA

    RHCT認證在2011年將正式改名為RHCSA – Red Hat認證系統管理員。從Red Hat亞太年會上帶回的消息，新版的RHEL6版的認證考試中的RHCT證書將更名為RHCSA，而且最重要的是RHCSA有了單獨的認證考試名字為EX200，這與目前與RHCE共用同一套考試做了很大的改變。新版的RHCE認證將從2011年中開始必須在通過RHCSA的EX200考試情況下再通過EX300考試才能獲得。也就是說2011年中的RHCE認證必須同兩次考試。2011年RHCE課程更新，考試難度與費用全部增加。

    2011年2月改版以後報考Red Hat RHCE，必須要先考RHCSA(或RHCT)，如果準備參加RHCE的在調整前儘快考好。

  • Red Hat Linux認證體系介紹(RHCT、RHCE、RHCA)

    為了檢測 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 的用戶對於管理 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 產品的實力，Red Hat 與其他原廠一樣，提供了一系列針對 RHEL 產品的證照 (Certification) 測驗：

    • RHCT
      RHCT (Red Hat Certified Technician) 是 RHEL 系列證照中最低階的一項。RHCT 的目標，在檢測您是否具備主要的系統管理能力。
      一個合格的 RHCT 會具備安裝、組態 Red Hat Enterprise Linux、有能力讓 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 連上企業網路環境，並且需有能力為 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 進行故障排除。
    • RHCE
      RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) 是屬於中階的證照測驗，檢測您是否具備管理單一台 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 的系統，與網路服務的建置與管理、安全控管之能力。
      RHCE 除了需具備 RHCT 條件外，還必須具備組態網路服務與維護 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 的安全性之能力。
    • RHCA
      RHCA (Red Hat Certified Architect)則是目前 RHEL 測驗中，最高階的考試。RHCA 主要是測驗您是否有能力，維護大規模環境的 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 系統。
      RHCA 必須具備 RHCT 與 RHCE 條件外，還必須擁有下列之能力：

     

    • 大規模安裝與部署 Red Hat Enterprise Linux
    • 目錄服務的管理
    • 儲存設備的管理
    • 系統監控與效能調校
    • 進階的網路與安全管理

     

    上述三項測驗，都是基於實機的測驗 (Performance-Base Testing)，也就是說進行 RHCT、RHCE 或 RHCA 測驗時，會提供真實的 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 系統，讓您完成測驗中的題目。
    RHCT 與 RHCE 是同一份題目，依據測驗的結果決定您是否為 RHCT 或 RHCE。至於 RHCA，則是另外一份與 RHCT 或 RHCE 不一樣的題目。如果您想要參加 RHC* 測驗，在台灣地區必須向精誠資訊恆逸教育訓練中心 (http://edu.uuu.com.tw/) 報名。

    RHCT 與 RHCE 測驗科目
    RHCT 與 RHCE 測驗共有兩個科目，分別為 Section 1 與 Section 2：Section 1

    Section 1 的科目名稱為故障排除與系統維護 (Troubleshooting and System Maintain)，測驗時間為 2.5 小時。
    測驗當天，主考官會宣布開始考試，邀請您進入考場入座。此時，您的電腦中已經安裝了一個有問題的 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 系統，您必須要依照題目上的要求，解決 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 中的錯誤與問題。Section 1 共有 10 個題目，又分為 5 個”必選題 (Compulsory)” 與 5 個 “可選題 (Non-Compulsory)”。必選題是您一定要完成的題目；而可選題則是您可以決定是否要完成。
    Section 2

    Section 2 的科目名稱為安裝與組態 (Installation and Configuration)，共 3 小時。
    進行 Section 2 的時候，您會獲得一個完全空的硬碟，您必須要依照題目上的指示，安裝並且組態 Red Hat Enterprise Linux。Section 2 的題目又分為兩類：

    • RHCT 或 Local
    • RHCE 或 Network

    另外，標註為 RHCE (Networking) 的題目中，還有命名為 Additional 的題目，共有3題。至於 Section 2 共有多少個題目?? 這會因為測驗版本不同，會有不同數量的題目。

    RHCT 與 RHCE 及格標準
    怎樣才能獲得 RHCT 或 RHCE 證照呢?? 您必須符合下列的條件：

    科目項目RHCTRHCE
    Section 1必選題必須在開始測驗的前一個小時完成，並且需全部正確。
    可選題無至少獲得 3 題的分數
    Section 2Local必須獲得 70% 的分數
    Networking無必須獲得 70% 的分數
    Additional無3 題中必須作對 2 題，分數併入 Networking 計算。

    上述的條件都必須符合，才能獲得 RHCT 或 RHCE 證照。

    例如，張三的測驗成績為：

    • Section 1 必選題超過一個小時才完成
    • Section 2 的 Local 獲得 70% 分數
    • Section 2 的 Networking 獲得 80% 分數

    那麼，張三是無法取得 RHCT 或 RHCE 證照的；而李四的成績為：

    • Section 1 必選題在一個小時內完成，並且全部正確
    • Section 1 可選題獲得 3 題的分數
    • Section 2 的 Local 獲得 70% 的分數
    • Section 2 的 Networking 獲得 70% 的分數，但 Additional 只作對 1 題。

    李四只能獲得 RHCT 的證照。
    通常在結束測驗後約一個星期的工作天內，將會收到 Red Hat 寄給您的成績單。如果成績單中通知您，已經順利取得 RHCT 或 RHCE 證照，您將在一個月左右收到 Red Hat 寄給您的證照與紀念品。
