ITIL V3 EX0-101考試可以讓資訊安全變得越來越重要了，經濟全球化導致了越來越多的組織之間的資訊交換（員工，客戶及供應商）以及越來越多地使用網路，如公司內部網路，連接網路與其他公司互聯網。許多企業的活動現在依靠科技，資訊已成為一筆寶貴的財富。資訊保密性成為至關重要的因素；資訊必須是可靠的。在資訊安全基礎模組的基礎上，ISO/IEC27002（ISFS），測驗考生對資訊安全的基本技能。
EX0-101考試要求安全性信息占10%，風險主題占30%；Approach組織占10%；Measures占40%；Legislation法規占10%。ITIL V3認證要求EX0-101考生在60分鐘完成40道選擇題，考生達到65%就可以通過ITIL V3考試，即40道中的26道就可以通過考試。

考試內容絕對不會超出這五個方面，問題大致按著這樣的順序來出：

考試時間為1個小時40道題如果英文好，40分鐘可以答完。
考試的難點在於對定義要十分的清楚，上課一定要好好的聽講，其實老師很多時候都會強調考點，老師反复的東西通常會在考試中出現；課上的案例分析一定要弄透徹，不要迷迷糊糊，否則考試的案例題你會暈，看哪個都相對的。多選題難度大，佔總量的一半左右（我考的那次）大家要有心理準備。
我10月30號參加考試的，在此之前我買一份TestPassPort EX0-101考古題（就算買了保險吧，畢竟考試費很貴的，我不希望失敗重考！，當然考試遇到問題幾乎題庫都有，很輕鬆的通過考試）
